Junior Social and Content Associate

Location: London (Hybrid Role)

Reporting to: Head of Brand & Marketing

Function: Creative, Social, Photography, Videography.

Main Function of Role

We take pride in our digital presence as a platform for brand awareness, storytelling, community engagement and feedback. We’re looking for a social and content associate to take our social and marketing to the next level. The candidate will create beautiful, engaging and exciting content across our social and marketing channels.

Reporting to the Head of Brand and Marketing, you will be responsible for taking a holistic and community-first approach to storytelling with touchpoints ranging from social platforms to email marketing. Acting as a brand guardian, the content will represent our brand’s tone of voice while identifying key trends and insights across a growing social landscape.

In a commercial and creative role, you must be able to use both sides of the brain and take an adaptable approach to new and upcoming opportunities. Experience in animated design, photography, and videography is hugely advantageous. This associate will report to the Head of Brand and Marketing Manager and have an integral part in building the foundation of SILOU’s immediate and future success.

Key Responsibilities

• Overview

Supporting Head of Brand & Marketing in developing brand content, presence and output on a daily basis. You’ll be working closely with the Head of Brand and Marketing to create integrated marketing campaigns, in all areas of the business (From PR, E-commerce, Retail, Wholesale and Events). Helping the team scale our marketing efforts, and increase our volume and visibility with the highest quality content.

• Social

Following creative briefs and content calendars, you’ll be responsible for scheduling & uploading content across all social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok and Pinterest. Assisting with the creation of a monthly content calendar for a variety of our social media channels. Oversee social content collaboration and influencer partnership.

Social obsessed, you'll be actively posting and creating content for SILOU's Instagram, Pinterest and Tiktok accounts - adhering to brand guidelines and capturing the overall brand mission through these platforms. You'll have strong skills behind a camera and be creating reels/TikTok videos on daily basis.

Sharp and curious by nature, you’ll be aware of current trends across Social Media and publish content in a reactive and fast pace environment - enabling us to utilize trends. You’ll take an adaptable approach, evolving our communications and creatives for opportunities.

Research and pitch social media ideas to ensure we are leading the way both as a brand and movement in the social landscape.

Take ownership of our daily Social calendar and communications with customers on social media by replying to comments, DM’s, queries and day to day feedback. You’ll work closely with our customer care team to spot recurring issues and support with a seamless customer experience.

Exploring commercial opportunities and other emerging social platforms.

Drive key social KPI’s tagging and tracking products ad influencer effectiveness

• Creative:

Shooting for in-house content briefs directed by the Head of Brand & Marketing. You’ll be confident in editing product imagery and creating artwork across stills and video to deliver exciting and beautiful creatives for social and marketing.

• Marketing

Work with the email calendar, ensuring all marketing plans and product launches are met. Consistently work to improve the look and feel of our content campaigns, delivering best in class emails that are highly engaging, commercial, conscientious and community-focused. Ensuring all content campaigns are optimized for different markets (UK, EUROPE, UAE, ROW)

Help drive new lead acquisition and database growth with all year round, by supporting the team.

(DTC and Wholesale)

Develop effective and segmented campaigns by building brand partnerships across ambassadors, teachers, affiliates and influencers. Support the SILOU UK & UAE influencer marketing strategy by working alongside the Head of Brand and Marketing to deliver campaigns that reach new audiences whilst growing our customer base and delivering a strong ROI. Manage affiliate programs and optimize interaction.

• Team
Collaborate and contribute ideas to ensure the brand and product team's vision is brought to life. Deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly channel analysis and learnings. Support with project management ad-hoc tasks, data gathering and organization where needed.

Who you are:

Ideally 1+ years in a similar role, this role is open to graduates with relevant marketing/ creative courses - please provide a portfolio / previous work examples with the application.

You have a creative eye, and attention to detail to create beautiful content with an overall genuine passion for the evergrowing social media landscape.

Detail orientated, highly organised, pro-active, and self-motivated with a strong initiative.

Confident in pulling ideas & presenting new concepts to the team.

Passionate about playing an active role in Social & Content brainstorms.

Actively seeking new trends and features, and collaborations across all platforms.

TikTok obsessed,elevating our brand presence on this rapidly growing platform is at the heart of this role!

Great knowledge of all social media platforms including but not limited to Tik Tok, YouTube, Instagram, Instagram Commerce, and Pinterest.

Must have a ‘can do' attitude and be open to learning, working closely and collaboratively within the Social and Content team.

Previous experience with scheduling platforms, TikTok Seller/Business, Facebook business suite, Latergram and Adobe software is a plus.
