Wimbledon is kicking off this week and the sunshine has come out to play, so what better way to spend a sunny evening than watch some tennis on a big outdoor screen whilst sipping on a refreshing, quintessentially British Pimms. Here are our favourite spots to watch in London:

Granary Square, King’s Cross

Watch from the faux-grass covered steps beside the canal in Granary Square. The coverage is shown until 8pm each evening — unless a key match is in progress, in which case, the action continues. After the match has finished, soak up the bustling atmosphere and enjoy a nourishing dinner at Caravan or Granger & Co in the square.

Eccleston Yards

Eccleston Yards, with its cluster of pretty restaurants and shops, and of course home of our pop-up collection at SMUK, will be holding free Wimbledon screenings in the courtyard. With deckchairs, twinkling string lights and gorgeous food and drinks from Wild by Tart and The Jones Family Kitchen, this is one of our very favourite locations for Wimbledon watching.

Pergola, Paddington Central

The beauty of Pergola Paddington is that this year they have plenty of both outdoor and indoor seating, so whatever the weather brings you can watch the tennis from their beautifully decorated venue. With 850 seats, seven day-beds, four restaurants and two bars, you’ll be well catered for.

Fulham Market Halls

With a range of food options, 2 bars, a coffee shop and a roof terrace, Fulham Market Halls is such a great location to spend an evening after work or a weekend afternoon. Inside, it’s well air-conditioned so it makes for the perfect spot to escape a hot day.

The Chelsea Courtyard

New west London bar and restaurant The Chelsea Courtyard is screening all matches, so you can watch Wimbledon in this beautiful setting whilst enjoying delicious food and drink. This spot has a lovely local feel won’t feel so packed as some of the larger locations.

Brown Hart Gardens, Mayfair

Tucked away from the crowds, Brown Hart Gardens is a much more tranquil setting to watch Wimbledon. It’s located off Duke Street in a public garden on top of an electricity substation with deck chairs and plenty of faux grass area to enjoy the sun.

Blue Bird, White City

Little sister to the Chelsea location, Bluebird Café White City is a stylish all-day drinking and dining spot in the newly revamped Television Centre next to White City House. It’s bright decor, greenery and delicious menu of contemporary British food makes it a wonderful spot for watching Wimbledon if you’re based North West of the city.
