Like most of the British nation, we have a big soft spot for Ella Mills, founder of Deliciously Ella. So much so that we named one of our new collection items after her. Shop the Ella Unitard.
What started with a blog, is now a healthy living empire. Ella promotes a plant-based diet through her cookbooks, podcast, granola, muesli, energy balls, oat bars, frozen meals, a gorgeous deli in London and now an app. She is a yoga-lover and practices most mornings.
We love how she inspires millions across the world and we want to share with you our favourite things about all things Deliciously Ella.
The Deliciously Ella App
We’re so excited about the new app which has a wide selection of yoga videos and will soon feature our Co-Founder and CEO Phoebe Greenacre with a gorgeous selection of yoga flows that you can follow at home or in the gym. It also features over 400 healthy, plant-based recipes, with instructional videos, meal planners, shopping lists and step-by-step images to make cooking easier. It really is one of the best apps we’ve used in a long time!
The deli located near Oxford Street, London, is a beautiful, bright and vibrant space to visit with friends and enjoy a seriously delicious plant-based meal. With so many delicious dishes on the menu, such as vegan shakshuka for breakfast, and cauliflower and red lentil dhal for lunch or dinner, it’s somewhere you can visit over and over and never get bored.
Ella has released a range of books over the past few years, her latest being ‘Deliciously Ella The Plant-Based Cookbook’ which is the Sunday Times number one bestselling cookbook and the fastest selling vegan cookbook of all time!
Ella’s food journey began with the energy balls and grew into a mouth-watering collection of snacks and meals including granola, muesli, oat bars and frozen meals. The bircher muesli is our current favourite breakfast, with cold oat milk and fresh berries, it’s perfect for these warm summer mornings.
Our favourite podcast episode from the Deliciously Ella podcast series so far is ‘Why we sleep with Matthew Walker’. It’s full of amazingly insightful information on the array of things that are affecting our sleep without us knowing, and lots of tips for things we can do in order to get a good night’s sleep.
