Whether you’re baring it all in the Bahamas or planning a self-care staycation, here are our Co-Founder’s Top tips to love yourself naked this month:
1. Dry Brushing
Dry brushing is one of those rare things that feels just as good when you do it yourself, and it’s incredibly easy to incorporate into your routine. Regular dry brushing is proven to do more to erase dimples and tone than the hundreds of lotions and potions that flood the beauty market daily. To do it yourself, start at your feet and brush upward towards the heart. Similarly, when you start on your arms, begin at the hands and work upward. Use firm, small strokes upwards, or work in a circular motion. For the stomach, work in a clockwise pattern.

A sizzling sauna session has copious benefits for the body. From inducing better sleep, to increasing mental focus, saunas help your body release a number of toxins, including heavy metals like mercury and lead, and environmental chemicals. The benefits don’t stop there. With infrared sauna technology, you can also lose weight, relax, relieve unwanted pain, increase your circulation, and purify your skin. Swap the cocktail date this festive period, and have a sweat date instead!

3. Long Hot Soak
It’s no secret that a long soak in a hot bath does wonders for the mind, but it’s also great for your body too. Relaxing, soaking and detoxing away your worries is the ideal way to heat up and sweat it out. Sure, a soak is no match for water aerobics or active hydrotherapy, but a good sweat induced by a hot bath can burn as many calories as taking a walk.

4. Oil me up
After dry brushing, schvitzing in the sauna and soaking in a long hot bath it’s time to lather up the body head to toe with a good quality organic oil. Hydrated skin looks and feels much better especially when nude. Apply a fast-absorbing Body Oil daily to slightly damp skin after a bath or shower.

5. Birthday Suit Tan
I look bad with a tan. Says no one ever. An even light tan can create an instant boost of confidence and helps us love ourselves nude this winter. We are definitely against orange tones at Silou HQ, we opt for a natural shade of birthday suit.
